Synopsis

After awakening from a nightmare, Nobuaki Kanazawa receives a mysterious text message in the middle of the night from someone known as the King, concerning the so-called "King's Game." This message demands that his entire class participate, that the King's orders must be fulfilled within 24 hours, and that no one is allowed to quit mid-game.

Background

is an adaptation of the first novel from the novel series of the same title. The series was published digitally in English as by Futabasha Publishers from June 11, 2019, to September 24, 2019. It was also released in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC from December 2013 to April 2014; and in Polish by Japonica Polonica Fantastica from February 27, 2016, to March 30, 2017.
