Synopsis

Circumstances have intertwined the fates of five strangers. As a team of five, they make their living running a freak show. As a family of five, they live on a small boat together. In the midst of a terrible war, they add to their number the kudan, a monster rumored to tell the future.

Background

won the 18th Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize Winner in manga category in 2014 and was nominated for the 19th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize in 2015.
